In this project partners will face the problem of lack involvement women (specially from disadvantaged groups who face special problems such as physical or mental disability, lack money or economic support and which are politically deemed to be without sufficient power or other means of influence) in the active citizenship. Therefor the main aim of this project is to show these women the active approach towards life, through involvement in social entrepreneurship.
With our project we are going to contribute to the third action pillar of the ENTREPRENEURSHIP 2020 ACTION PLAN launched by European Commission: Role models and Reaching out to specific groups. We are going both to make visible the success stories of women involved in social economy and to reach out to women – the group underrepresented in the entrepreneurial population.
The need for a European cooperation consists above all in the importance of creating a cross-cultural mentality, a new entrepreneurial attitude that includes the social perspective, for a higher quality of jobs and life.
Last but not least: a common approach is not only needed for better results, but would be much more cost effective, than each country working on the idea on regional basis.
The project is focused on improving women’s knowledge about possibility of creating and developing the social enterprises. They will be also motivated to the organizing the social enterprises and involving through the existing social enterprises activities and to be more active citizens.
The project addresses the issue of developing active citizenship through social entrepreneurial tools, targeting disadvantaged groups of women such as unemployed women and other women facing the social exclusion.
